Lancaster Manor

Mother of Sorrows Church was one of the largest Catholic parishes situated in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. It has a rich history dating back to 1849. It began to decline by the 1970s, brought about by changing demographics and fewer worshippers and later closed in 2017. We are currently redeveloping the buildings in a 100-unit mix-use project, which will include some retail stores also.
